About Alyson

I've spent the last five years building things in the creator economy from every possible angle: as a founder, as a partnerships manager negotiating deals for creators, and as a creator myself who's built an audience from scratch.

It started with Studio Ru in 2020. I kept meeting talented photographers who had no idea how to turn their Instagram into an actual business, so I built a framework for it. Since then I've run organic strategy for a full roster of clients at once, and I've watched more than one photographer go from posting inconsistently to fully booked, including one client now booked out through 2028.

In 2021 I co-founded Fieldwork Studio, a creative production studio where I lead strategy and direction for creator clients including Jocie B ASMR, Happily Ever Hanks, and Tal & Mads. That's the side of my work where strategy actually meets the edit, thumbnails, scripting, pacing, the whole pipeline.

In between building those two businesses, I spent time on the other side of the table too. As Creator Partnerships Manager at GigaStar, an SEC-registered creator funding platform, I managed a deal pipeline of hundreds of creators a month, introducing top-tier YouTube talent to a brand-new funding model. Before that, as a Talent Manager at Grail Talent, I managed 20+ brand partnerships a month for creators including Kylie Pitts, Courtney Moseley, Kia Matthews, and Jessica Hawks, working with brands like Target, Uber, Thrive Market, Stouffer's, Shark Ninja, and Toyota.

And through all of it, I've been building my own thing too. My personal brand has grown to 220K+ followers, including one video that hit 10M+ views, all filmed, edited, and posted by me.

I don't strategize from theory. I've been the founder trying to figure out what to post, the manager negotiating the deal, and the creator on the other end of the pitch. That's the perspective I bring to everything I build, for myself and for the people I work with.
